- First plans to record a new stuff started at January 2021
- And the first two songs we choose to have on this EP were Schwarzer Engel and In The Company of Wolves
- Recording started on 4th of June, with the first take of drums in the nice city of Deblin
- Other instruments have been recorded during summer, and the final mix and master finished at begin of October
- There were about five different drafts regarding name of EP. But The Hunger won quickly
- Title is connected with all songs, and could be understood as a pure hunger, state of mind or insatiable desire
